Hello Flash Families!

A quick reminder to please declare for Thursday’s swim meet as soon as possible if you have not already done so. Declaring early helps our coaches begin planning lineups and relays and makes meet preparation run much more smoothly.

We are also still in need of a few gatherers for Thursday’s meet. This is one of the most important volunteer jobs, especially for our younger swimmers! Gatherers help make sure swimmers are where they need to be and ready for their races (including relays and exhibition events). It is such a huge help in keeping the meet running on time and making sure kids don’t miss events.

And a friendly reminder to all families — even if you are not volunteering, please help make sure your swimmer is seated in the correct team area and easy to locate when it is time for their events. Our gatherers work hard, and having swimmers where they are supposed to be helps us avoid delays and missed relays.

One quick note: I will not be at Thursday’s meet, but Laura Cleary will be there helping keep everything running smoothly and assisting volunteers as needed. She will be a great point person if questions come up!
