City Meet this year will be Friday July 11 and Saturday July 12. City meet takes place at the Fort Oglethorpe pool. The pool address is 19 Van Cleve St Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742. The 10 and under swimmers will swim the morning session each day and the 11 and over swimmers will swim the afternoon session each day. Qualifying swimmers will get to come back in the evening and swim again in finals!

NOTE ON WARM-UPS: As you'll notice, our warm-up window is short. It is in your swimmer's best interest for you to show up early and be ready for warm-ups. If warm-ups are missed, there is not much we can do.

I have attached to this email the crash map for the meet. When you open it, look for FCLU. We will have a tent from the club set up, but you are welcome to bring your own to set up as well. The weather is showing that it may rain, so tarps for the ground are also not a bad idea if you own and are willing to share as it may be muddy. To that end, be prepared for rain delays as well.

If this is your first city meet with the team, it can be overwhelming, but we have seasoned parents that are happy to answer questions or you can reply here and I will be happy to answer as well!

Phew that's a lot, I know! You'll likely hear from me more throughout the week, but here's a starting point.

    Best,

    Erin
